Following in our parents footsteps

Ella following Mummy

Ella's hands sewing

And Jake following Daddy

Jake the mathematician

Of course we are all more complex individuals than that would suggest.
But I do detect a bit of a pattern.

Do you see these patterns in your family?

Every stage is different. It's sometimes a shock to see your child follow the same path you did. They seem to waver between parents though and sometimes another family member's traits pop in for a visit. It's fun to watch.

I love these pictures. Especially the little hands under the sewing machine. Jake looks like he's really concentrating.

Busy is unable to walk past a rug without straightening it, me neither, I never taught her this- she just does it. Plus she is constantly straightening things.

SHE IS SO MUCH LIKE ME!!!!
