My mum came with me over a year ago to the Melbourne quilt expo and bought a quilt kit that she fell in love with.
I promised way back then to make it for her, and I've FINALLY made a start ...
I've finished the quilt top and just need to select a backing and get quilting.
It will be given in a few weeks as a house warming gift when my parents move in to their new home.
Hope you are having a great Thursday.
Lovely Andi! I'm sure they will love it x
Those colors and fabrics are gorgeous!
I love this pattern ! I bought the template too
So beautiful. I love it all together - I would never think to put all those patterns in but it looks fantastic
So nice Andi - the fabrics look wonderful in that pattern.

So vibrant!! Maybe I'll make myself a similarly vibrant quilt when I get back from Japan with fabric galore!
What a beautiful top, the colours are very vibrant. I'd love to see how you quilt it.
All that glorious colour! Just divine.
This is really beautiful!
See what happens when you can't buy fabric!!!! I wonder how many of those UFO's I have kicking around the place! Just lovely!
WOW!! That is absolutely gorgeous Andi.
That's a goodie, that is. Has there been 'WHERE THE HECK IS MY QUILT?' hintery over the last year or so?
Oh, wow, this is just gorgeous! I have a big thing for Japanese fabrics and this is so beautiful!!!
So pretty! Your mother will be thrilled!
You are so clever. I always have trouble with triangles.
Oh my that is just gorgoues. Love the fabrics used - such beautiful colours.
Looks beautiful Andi! Great colours! One of my UFOs is a Japanese hexagon quilt, I may pick it up after seeing this.
Lovely! Where did you get the fabric??
I've given you a Versatile Bloggers Award...I'm not sure you're into things like that but I thought it a good opportunity to introduce your blog to my readers.
Lovely. Was that a lot of triangle-sewing or was there some tricky fast-piecing method? I must say I'm a bit of a sucker for a bright one-patch.
Looks great...we all get to things eventually!! And it will make a lovely housewarming gift.
That is one of the most beautiful creations I have ever seen - your Mum will be delighted
It's so pretty! Your mom has great taste! :D
