Where have I been?

Not to London to visit the Queen, I'm afraid!!

We've been struck down by the dreaded lurgy at chez Patch Andi in recent weeks.
Not much energy for blogging.

What's a girl to do under such circumstances?

Online shopping of course!!

Here's some of my recent loot ...

(Fingers are for scale)

Apologies for not including all the relevant links but I just don't have the energy today.
But all this goodness was purchased from this delightful store.

I have also been doing some book buying damage but I'll save that for another post.
(I also have some more fabric due to arrive next week. I HAVE been naughty!!!)

And just to prove my hands haven't been completely idle of late, here's a sneak peek at a secret project I've nearly completed.

All will be revealed once this is safely with it's new owner!

Back soon.

Andi :-)

Yeah I'm with Kate! I was just thinking of the eye ball lecture I'd be getting if I'd had similar credit card fun! Still, you were the one home with sick kids so in my book, you totally deserve it!

Sorry to hear all has not been well in your house. I hope you all get better very quickly. Lovely shopping loot though, yum. Your secret quilt looks gorgeous, the little bit we can see!!! xo

You couldn't get to the shops so that's a good plan, do it online! I hope you feel better soon, I've had the lurgy for two weeks. The secret project looks pretty good just by the fabrics.

Online shopping is so dangerous, lately I have just found the strength to fill the shopping basket to the brim and then quickly shut down my browser...not sure how long it ill last though...

Ha, I'm like Tamara. I fill the cart and then switch off. I love your new purchases. I nearly bought the full castle peeps range as well as the top row of fabrics. Anyway I hope they all make you feel a little bit better.

I couldn't resist Castle Peeps either! Quite a good looking stash!

Sorry if we other colonists were hogging the Queen - we did just send her back to England, though, with lots of maple syrup so once you're feeling better, she'll be able to accept visitors. :-)

Hope you're on the mend now. It's a good excuse to eat all those foods your mother used to make....you know....comfort foods. Then just curl up with your new fabrics, ah, bliss!

Excellent shopping! Love the sneak peak, wonderful colours and love the quilting and french knots!
