We have just come back from a week in sunny Noosa.
It was a fantastic week to choose because Melbourne has just had one of the coldest September weeks on record.
There was much swimming ...
(Making new friends on holidays was always the best!!!)
Some bushwalking ....
A sighting of the rare "Sunshine Coast Penis Tree" .....
Some Eumundi Market shopping ....
(I actually bought HEAPS more than this but didn't get any photos)
There was much slack jawed TV watching ....
and happy snapping in the sunshine ....
Of course there was also a little stitching ....
No chance of going a whole week without some craftiness sneaking in.
ahem...that penis tree is a sight !
It looks like heaps of fun - the holiday of course, not the penis tree, unless you were Mrs tree...STOP !!!
I had to do a double take when I saw the penis tree! And yes, whilst you ahve been enjoying the warmth of the North...I have been freezing my t**ts off!
Lovely hexes x
I love Eumundi Market . . . its been years!
The Tree . . . Wow!
You look very relaxed . . . good to see you still managed some crafty business!
& "Man only 6 UFO's!"
I have got to get my act together a bit more!
Good on you Andi!
okay is it really called the penis tree? it's hideous! :)
your hexes look amazing!
Sounds like it had all the ingredients of the perfect holiday. I'm loving the hexes.
All I have in my head right now is the penis tree - how hilarious is that?
OMG that tree!! What a hoot. Love your stitching too, so colourful. Glad you enjoyed your holiday.
Take me with you next time you go - I could carry your sewing stuff! I looks like you had a great time and definitely got to see more of the sun than we did!
Sounds fabulous Andi, what a great time! I love Noosa and Eumundi markets and all that (used to live in Bris so got to visit often!). Love those hexies too xo
Love the slack jawed TV watching. Such a familiar facial expression! Your hexes are wonderful!! Sounds like a delightful trip, she says, ignoring the elephant, er, penis tree in the room...
