Craft Camp

I LOOOOVE going away on craft camp.

Two whole days of stitching, sharing, eating, drinking and fabulous company!!

Last weekend was no exception ....

Lots of fabric:

Loads of yummy food:

Pickles have become a staple of our menu!

Soup is the best winter lunch!!

Colorful and yummy!!

We even had patchwork pie!!

Of course we made lots of stuff too:

This was Tina's second ever quilt! So gorgeous!!

Lisa is expecting a new baby niece/nephew.
Mary's beanie had 'glow-in-the-dark' thread all through it!!
Judy's hand stitching was gorgeous!
Tina and Louise concentrating hard!
Helen's plan was to start working through her yarn stash!

I made some stuff too!!

Such an incredible weekend. A shame it had to end. Wanna go again!!

What YouPatch can do

I had a lovely day with my crafty group of friends yesterday. In addition to lots of sewing, chatting, eating and laughing, a few of us played with some images on my laptop using the YouPatch software to create some pixel quilt patterns.

Thought I'd share some of the images with you.

Some are more complex than others. Some use lots of colors. Others only a few.

It is really so much fun playing with the software and changing up the colors.

I think people are really going to have some fun with this website. (At least I hope so).

Inspired

Last week at Perle 8's, Fi had a gorgeous covered notebook that had been gifted to her.
I was inspired to make one myself.

I wonder what I'll be inspired by at Perle's tonight!!
